I think people should just let the brand die, and give GM the middle finger. Let them file for bankruptcy, the banks foreclose their assets and buy them at an auction. Why would you make a deal with GM? That's like going into business with a retard, bad idea. Let them die and re-build it how you want to without any interference from GM.

I agree. Still beats me how a car company was capable of producing such ridiculous and idiotic cars and nobody realized something was wrong. GM's getting better but seems as if it still has a very long way to go.

Agree. Could it be done simultaneously, giving GM the middle finger and reviving the Saab in his entire beauty?

this f...ing GM should have gone down. U.S. should have never bailed them out. now that they are in a OK position, they are trying their best to kill two good european brands, SAAB and OPEL/Vauxhall. All they now is how to build cars that will destroy the company. they should have been the ones being liquidated. its a shame, really a shame.

GM really screwed this one up. They produced cars until recently in the states that were no better than communist cars. (most Buicks, pontiacs saturns etc) When they finally have an amazing car they kill it off. (well amazing for GM) Pontiac G8, now they will do the same with a good looking 9-5 Saab. Why spend the money developing it and not build it.
