i love Audis with a passion, but this has to be THE stupidest advert i've ever seen.
what may have been a slightly better spin is give some indication of time, and show how little the fuel counter has moved or something, but even then it's a tenuous link.
bad show Audi.

i think it's funny and harmless. in Europe we have commercials that are way more extreme. the Citroen ad is better , the Audi ad looks like they guy wants to kill himself because he bought the A5.

According to an Audi spokesman here in Germany, the "commercial" is a fake. Btw, there is no Audi A5 with the "Clean Diesel Technology".

that would explain why the A5 in the commercial has the bog standard wheels rather than being a tarted up aspirational model.

Here's what I think they should have done: A man running from the police because he has done something terrible , he see's a man opening his Audi A5 about to enter in a parking lot. He takes his keys and gets away, then the What happens in the commercial then plays out but at the end he wakes up with the police boxing him in.

It's funny & sad. Perhaps Audi executives should pay more attention to Audi and stop having tantrums about hybrids and American car companies.
