if I remember there is on the market today a car called Dacia Logan... looking at this model I may say that this is a more rounded version of that car... even the front grill and lamps are quite similar... anyway I think it is a modern option for buyers in many countries (developed or not, if we consider the success of Dacia in Germany, France, etc.)

I also think that the sedan looks like a rounded Dacia Logan :)

Never thought I'd see the day where another car manufacturer has seen the Impreza front end and think 'hmm, looks nice, we merge that with the Honda City front end, that'll look good'. Toyota, full of surprises.

Why do cars for emerging markets always have to be ugly?

...so that no one from another market imports one cheap!? (...because they don't want it; I'm sure the Indians don't want it either!)

Not sure why India needs this car... Toyota could have made a cheap version of the iQ there

Nope, I once read an article about emerging markets like Eastern Europe, China and India, and IQ would never work because it's to small, emerging markets buyers want space, a lot of interior space because many might have large families and might want to carry a lot of crap.
