Nice to see the Scirocco R, 458 Italia, 5 series and E63 AMG on the list. But number one leaves me scratching my head. Honestly, a Saab?
And happy new year wcf team!

Lets see, we got 1 illiterate guy (amith0072), a fan boy (dnipete), and a few others. Oh well, I feel that the 458 ranked higher, but it is a bit ugly on the front.

What no Toyota Prius...?? (umm, just kidding!)
Well, the majority appears to be German!

i dunno man. usually i share your sentiment for US cars being utter garbage (Camaro excepting) but you have to admit Moslers are cool.

Where is the Magnificent Audi R8???
I think this list is biased against Audi. Only because Audi makes the best Diesel Engines in the World, that does not mean their cars are not as sporty. My A3 TDI, for instance, is one of the fastest cars in my city!

This list is SOLELY based on the amount of views the stories about the particular car got.
Note: for more details on methodology used, see top 10 concept cars story.

Somebody should use this opportunity to wish a Happy New Years to the crew behind our favourite car website. Thanks for a great 2009 staff of WCF!

Happy New Year to WCF Team...great job guys.
As for Saab, I think what intrigued people most was the fact that how can Saab still produce cars when they were at the verge of collapsing...Not the fact that their cars are hot...which I'm sorry to say Saab, they are not at all...I hope Saab can improve their design if they are revived by any one of the giants.

I agree - I can't believe that a marque with as much history and cache as Saab is just going to disappear. There was a point about twenty years ago where they could have used their heritage to become a kind of Swedish BMW, but they missed their opportunity and now face oblivion. Never let it be said that branding and marketing doesn't matter. They didn't read the market well, and then had the misfortune to be bought out by an American manufacturer.
