A Canadian designer sent Carscoop these renderings of a proposed replacement for the Bugatti Veyron.  Called the Bugatti Renaissance, the car is the creation of newcomer John Mark Vicente.

"These projects are personal reflections of my understanding of design as an art, science, and philosophy," Vicente says on his website.

Vicente, of Richmond, British Columbia, drew the vehicle as part of his prior coursework.  He is a Communication Design graduate from Emily Carr University of Art and Design in Vancouver.

The aspiring designer "modeled [the Renaissance] in Softimage XSI and rendered in 3DS Max via Mental."  For any auto executives reading this, Vicente is looking for freelance work.  He can be found through his site.

WHOA!!!! some of you guys might hate me for this but i never liked the old design of the bugatti veyron, i didnt understand why such a powerful car was designed to look like a large volkswagen beetle

this is more like it though, not only is it powerful but also looks powerful, beast!!!

Simply SUBLIME. This Dude's Good! This looks more like a 1 Million dollar car than the current Veyron. Gimme Gimme!

Looks good, but not for Bugatti. It doesn't look elegant, classy or timeless as a Bugatti should. I love the aggressive EB110 but the design is rather forgettable. The Veyron has a lot of presence and power in a subtle kinda way. It's hard to top on that.

Agreed. Bugattis, no matter how fast (and they always are super fast) must have an air of class, elegance and - i don't know if this is the word but - lightness to their design. I'm sorry, but this thing just looks like a fat Bertone Mantide, which I consider one of the ugliest cars ever. It looks like a glorified tuner car, not a bespoke masterpiece. Nice try mate, but you've deviated from the Bugatti brand's core values, I'm afraid.

It appears to have more cuts, sharp corners and openings than the current Veyron. Might not be as aerodynamic than the current Veyron because of that, but it certainly is more aggressive looking. Great attempt

Doesn't look like any Bugatti I've ever seen. What's the inspiration car for this concept. It looks cool as hell but it's definitely not pur sang.
