They painted the car black to hide its age like what they did with the Vanquish S. Looks good though but feeling old now.

Now that is just plain sexy. If on the other hand this car were an Infiniti coupe, i.e., a car seen every day, then undoubtedly I would be amongst the many who feel that this car's body style is getting a little long in the tooth. But I don't see Aston Martins every day. And I feel that if this car in its current shape were to have been introduced to the public just yesterday that it would remain attractive and up-to-date for the next 6 years. So that's why I say to you Mr. Aston Martin that if you do decide to cave in to the pressure by redesigning this timeless shape, then please make it look exactly like the One-77...which of course you won't do, nor should you for that matter. So I guess what I'm saying is that, um...well; could you swap out those clear taillight lenses for some red ones? And while you're at it maybe you could bless it with some of that borderline garish BRABUS-esque alcantara interior magic that I like so much.

agreed about the red tail light lenses (tho as these cars are hand built i don't see why AM wouldn't do it if you asked them to).

As a Vantage owner the car is awesome & not dated...I am glad they are not changing it, just making it better with updates, ETC. If any car is dated I would have to say the 911.
Its how it should be with a car like this when you pay over $100,000.00 for a car it should not change so quickly as MB, & BMW... Look at the old body MB Sl500 they stayed the same for over 10 years & the 911... A company as Aston Martin needs to focus on reliability before they go and keep on changing there models, so they can make a reliable DD...
Small updates are just fine, its not like a Porsche you dont see 30 daily...

Looks great. I just don't like the air vents on the bonnet. They're too many and too big.

They look pretty spectacular. I think the V12 Vantage is slightly more desirable that the DBS. I can't help but feel that the DBS is overdone, and I think the carbon fibre, black add-ons just move it further away from the purity of the DB9.
