And like all electric cars, will have dreadful winter performance and mileage when driving fast. No thank you, until the EPA or the EU decides to set a standard for electric car mileage, I don't trust what manufacturers say!

As a source of standards, they are. Until there is a standardised method and process for measuring the economy and performance of electric vehicles, manufacturers can claim all sorts of wild numbers for distance/time between charge. Until then, graphs showing current and voltage figures for different speeds and accelerator levels are far more useful.

Not bad but battery technology is still to far behind for any manufacturer to make a good electric car. But at least BMW is showing interest in EVs, any manufacturer who even tries to build even an electric concept is at least showing they can and are willing to build electric vehicles. Their off to a great start its just going to be a while before the finish line is reached.
