I still don't understand the point of this engine. Why would you have a V12 diesel, especially considering the price tag???

This one has the V8 but the V12 TDi would be great for towing because of the massive amounts of torque. Not that one would choose to do this but they used a V10 TDi VW Touareg to tow a Jumbo Jet. I would imagine the V12 TDi could tow two. Imagine being the key word. :)
