2011 BMW ActiveHybrid 7 Pricing Announced

"...a whopping $400 if you want an ipod and USB adapter." On a vehicle that will flirt with $125,000 after taxes and whatever else they get before the bottom line, $400 is not even noticable.

I think it should be included, seems cheap to leave it out and then charge so much for it

It costs $600+ to get it put in after the fact. So what's the fuss about?

Don't know how much a hybrid like this would appeal to people who drive 750s. The cost of gas wouldn't seem to be much of a concern form them. The 750 is also much cheaper and has very similar performance figures..I think Mercedes has it better with the S 400.

and who said this looks better than new A8 :d people who said that shoud be with realy small brain.... this 7series looks diskusting and interior looks cheap, like Opel Insignia...

Do you guys think it has enough ActiveHybrid 7 badges? I am worried people won't know it's not a regular 7 series.

Shame for BMW, they should not follow the rest of car companies which push to have their hybrid model. We have 740d, they look good and more economical. Actually, there is not enough consumer for hybrid instead of them from NA. At least, it looks a car and not too weird as Prius and hopefully drive quite well. Just replace the dull front bumper with something more attractive and sportier to make this car looks smaller. Btw, the interior actually is not too bad for an executive model, but the rests are also definitely good, new A8 is awesome, only a few buttons which sadly will be often touched, BMW did it in classy way. Just depends on your taste.

I think I prefer a regular one without turbos, but then I never drove a new one. Handsome car in person. Love to take something like this out for a night on the town sometime.
