it looks exactly like a Toyota Rav4. the only diffirence is the badge and the price tag.

It looks absolutely independent. i don't know, where the casually viewer see a RAV4 or a Quashquai?!
great designed and (more important) well proportioned car. congrats Mitsubishi

Although I favor a dual clutch, I rather have a Diesel, 4WD, and 6 speed automatic transmission in the U.S.. It would just be a perfect timing.
The VW Golf now has diesel in the US. For something as small a the Yaris with a 4WD & a petrol engine, there is already the Suzuki SX4 with a 2.0L.
If Mitsubishi wants to come in to compete, it will have to offer something better than a Nissan Rogue, the Suzuki SX4, or the economical VW Rabt FW diesel 2.0 TDI. Hence, a car with a diesel engine, 4WD & auto trans. (for the wife).

they need to stop putting the names from older cars on them. because even if they are ressurecting them, we have no good memories of the old one. the old RVR was a can of dog food. and now i cant help it see this as one

The original Rav4 was 4.1 m in length. The second iteration was just under 4.3m long. Both had rear door mounted spares which formed part of the overall length. Now Mitsubishi has a 'baby' SUV 4.3 metres in length, with no rear mounted spare. What were the original Ravs then.? Micro mini baby SUVs perhaps.?
