Rear looks great, but the front end is a totally different story.

To the infiniti and beyond!!! The M looks way better than the new 5-series and the E-class, sportiness, anyone?

This is an exceptionally nice looking car as is the current M. Unfortunately, I think Infiniti could've done with a simpler interior. Their interiors always feel somewhat cluttered and overdone, and lack the simple elegance and functionality found in Audis and BMWs. Nonetheless, the interior is very nice. Also love the lines of this car. It seems like Nissan/Infiniti is catching on with a new unique design philosophy, as seen in the current Maxima and G37. I would gladly take this over any Lexus, except of course, the LF-A.

Finally a worthy Japanese answer to the BMW, Merc and Audi. Although the car profile immediately reminds me of Hyundai Elantra, but Infiniti has executed it very well.

That's what I love about Infiniti. It's as good (even better in some respects, such as the 425bhp), and yet it will be cheaper than the German counterparts. But I think that the G37 is also very competitive with the Germans.

I'll still have to see it in person to get the real/full effect, but it is starting to grow on me. Sometimes it looks a bit cartoonish in the pictures though. I love the seat heating/cooling controls and the transmision mode selector though.

425hp V8 in a good looking car, that's good enough for me

Doesn't even come close to the Germans. Ugly and cluttered interior. Very bubbly. Next!

believe me, having seen this in Tokyo a few weeks back, it oozes style. of course "it doesn't even come close to the Germans", thats because its far superior! Germany 0 - Japan 1!

Wow, a 5.6 liter engine, this car is a bruiser! Apart from that, this car is attractive in a generic sort of way. At least they got rid of the gargantuan and just plain hideous rear lights of the previous generation. The interior is a little messy, but sure packs alot of kit. IMO, the new 5-series still looks like the way to go. I think it looks classier inside and out, and I wouldn't bet against the BMW on the dynamics and refinement front, especially given that active 4WS is offered on the 5 in addition to an 8-speed auto.

Be real. Most of the comments here claiming that this car even touches the 5 series is just another attack on BMW. What do you expect from a Japanese car maker who stole BMW's trade mark " ///M " and used it on a car that is seriously ugly from every angle, Japanese made, seriously stupid interior, doesn't even touches BMW's Dynamics and performance, and no match for technology nor the quality. Infinity? they didn't even know what to name the car brand! I mean holy shit, Are they seriously trying to rival BMW with this car?. Next please.

Well this is so far is shaping up to be a hard competitor for the F10, let alone the current E60. Yeah, I went there. And don't call me a BMW hater because I drive a 1998 740iL every day, and I absolutely love it, and I've driven several other current BMWs, all of which were brilliant. There's no denying that BMW is in fact "the ultimate driving machine." But Infiniti's recent products cannot go unnoticed. They're fast, drive very well (that G37 is unbelievably good), and reliable. And best of all, they're much cheaper than their German counterparts. Infiniti is the most under-rated brand in the industry. Fact.

Wow I cant believe they would release a car that will be dated even before it gets to there showrooms! just like Acura with there new TL, it just makes the Germans look better and better, the new F10 makes this Infiniti M look bad.....

I always like the Infiniti cars. They are price right with nice interior and exterior. They give a run to 5 series, E class and are better looking than GS but they have the most unomfortable chairs. The driver seat on Infiniti cars are WAY TOO SHORT. Otherwise the car is NEAR PERFECT In handling and drive.

Interesting car. The old looked really funny, but I lided the interior a lot. Handling and driving was supposed to be great also. The new one is a praise worthy retention of the old ones success, imo.
