Wald SPORTS LINE Black Bison Edition based on Mercedes Benz W212 E-Class

Japan's very own Wald International, a tuner specializing in premium European and Japanese marques, recently debuted their styling kit for the Mercedes E-Class W212 at the SEMA show in Las Vegas, and have now sent us a full set of beauty shots.

Falling under Wald's SPORTS LINE Black Bison Edition range, the styling components consist of a front bumper, side skirts, rear bumper fascia with integrated diffuser, trunk spoiler, roof spoiler, sports fender ducts and exhaust system. Wheels are Wald's own Mahora series which are available in several different finishes in 19-, 20- and 21-inch.  As seen in previous SPORTS LINE Black Bison Editions, the louvred design elements seen on the sides of the front and rear bumper fascias and side skirts seem to be a hallmark trait.  Other standout characteristics include the double foglamps and the stacked oval tailpipes reminiscent of the Lexus IS-F.

[UPDATE 18.05.2010]  7 photos added with Wald's Germania G21 black polish wheels.

agreed. WALD have always been a bit OTT for me, but i've kept an eye on them because sooner or later they were gonna release a car like this an blow all other bodykits into the weeds. finally that time has come. if they release a similar looking kit for the E-Coupe, i'm getting one with all these add ons.

Beautiful Car. I just think they copied Brabus a bit with the paint job and body kit. But thats just my perspective.

I don't see how any of you say this is better than the Brabus. The front with the dual driving lights is a direct copy of Brabus, which looks good. The wheels look good too. But the rear is so busy and bulbous it looks like anime, a typical trait of anything WALD does. Brabus screwed up by painting the Distronic Plus cover on the grill the same color as the body, and the carbon fiber bits on the side are questionable on a silver E-Class, but WALD has ruined every Mercedes they have ever touched. In my opinion, both cars have major flaws. I think Edo Competition should try their hand at the E-Class. They did an awesome job on the C63 AMG

I agree, I'd take the Brabus just for the simple fact that they do the highest quality aftermarket tuning I've seen. The paint on this is nice but the back is seriously overdone.

Waldisney presents 'Black Bison'. Intimidating, but hardly original with BRABUS trademark foglights. There's a war going on in the Aftermarket Market and no prisoners are taken! Who would have thought that 20 years down the line, the Lexus brand can be a design inspiration for Mercedes tuners with the stacked IS-F chrome pipe detailing?! Still an immense package.

You niggas r crazy if you think this is better than the brabus. This kit is simply a C class Brabus kit in the front and a lexus IS-F in the back. Doesn't hold a candle to the Brabus on the exterior and interior build quality and design. I won't even mention the performance difference.

E-class... de-beautified, hahaha. For God's sakes, that looks like a Brabus/IS-F wannabe! WALD, leave this market niche to Lorinser and go back to your old elegant themes that we all love!
