Michael Schumacher has kept alive the speculation about his possible full-time return to formula one next year with Mercedes GP.

At a Brazilian kart event at the weekend in Florianopolis, the 40-year-old refused to reject the reports about his becoming Nico Rosberg's 2010 teammate.

"Right now I am concentrating only on these kart races," he is quoted as saying in international reports.

"Who knows? Anything can happen," seven time world champion Schumacher added.

As for his fitness problems that prevented his return in injured Felipe Massa's Ferrari earlier this year, the German responded: "I don't have any problems with my neck. It's 100 per cent."

Schumi's the greatest but Alonso and Hamilton are not one hit wonders. We're going to hear from them for several more seasons to come! Alonso and Hamilton are good drivers with great potential, by the way Alonso's got two championships and he managed to beat Schumi twice, in a Renault, so just imagine the damage he can do in a Ferrari!

Renault were the best cars back when Alonso won , just like this year when brawn had the best car. Ferrari doesn't always have the best cars on the grid.

True, but he still isn't a one hit wonder though, he wasted no time adopting to the McLaren along with Lewis and they both finished level on points! Bottom line is they are good drivers and let's wait and see what happens this season. Schumi can actually learn a thing or two from them, including from Sebastian Vettel, if the latter's performance at the Race of Champions is anything to go by. Ferrari Felipe Fernando = Driver and Constructor's Title! 3F=DCT! Viva Scuderia!

During the far gud old times of 5 consecutive titles of Schumi, we saw a lot of 1-2 winning for Ferrari, and if Barricello (not sure about spelling :/) hadn't been forced to let the car of Schumi to pass, I think Schumi would have lost at least 2 titles. If Hamilton were treated the same way as Barri.., we would definitely see the fourth title of Fernando last season. So pls dont talk like no one deserves to win but your Schumi. I think he's great no doubt, but Hamilton and Alonso are as good also.

I think next season will be something special. Jacques Villinueve is likely to return to the Grid as well, Felipe is back and in good shape! The driver shuffle will give us at least four contenders for the title. So it's Alonso & Massa vs Button & Hamilton vs Rosberg & Schumacher / Heidfield vs Vettel & Webber plus Villinueve.

It doesnt matter what could have been. Its all about WHAT IS. The greatest driver ofcourse. Any other opinion would be subjective and not based on wins, poles, championships, etc, etc. Someone has to win every year, it is inevitable regardless of the talent in the field. Therefore someone like Hamilton or Button is not nessesarily a good driver. You need to win more then a few to be considered this.
