BMW 7 Series M Sport Receives Matt Black Trim Treatment by EAS

BMW 7 Series M Sport Receives Matt Black Trim Treatment by EAS
BMW 7 Series M Sport by EAS

Back to Black

Californian tuner European Auto Source has unveiled its own spruced up version of the Frankfurt-debuted M Sport package for the 7-Series. EAS build upon what is already a solid sports kit: Aerodynamics Package, chrome trim on both front and rear aprons and a 19-inch double-spoke alloy design with front and rear wheels wearing differing, optimised tyre sizes. EAS haven't just taken that further, they've also swapped chrome highlights for a fiercer, matt black trim.

Aside from ditching the chrome in favour of matt black side and kidney grilles, matt black OEM rear diffuser, Style 312 OEM 21-inch matt black alloys and a new, converted front bumper replacing chrome with, yes, matt black, EAS also add body-coloured door handles and trunk trim.

All in all, a great improvement. But assumedly at a cost which - although unannounced - is likely to total a few thousand dollars.

i know bmw builds engines better than almost everyone so i know it can take at least a 20psi without breaking anything. tune the DME, get better turbos and downpipes that will work with all the electronic stuff, change intercooler and you have the baddest luxury car in the world!!!!!!!!!

It melts me down, that makes me confuse between this one and the Alpina. Yeah, try to boost it and make it into 600ish, that is really cool. BTW why they tuned the long version, I thought the short wheelbase one will make more sense and actually sportier, right?

That's just beautiful. The front end is putting me off a little, but everything else is amazing. While it does make for some interesting eye candy, your comments are focusing on the wrong part of this car. The majority of clientele that will purchase the 7 are looking at it's aesthetics, not how much it has under the hood. Sure, adding that extra horsepower will be nice, but the .2-3 seconds shaved off the 0-60 will have little effect on the owners. You think the business execs or other hardworking people really that about increasing it to 20psi? It'll make no difference for them. But I do love WCF. Got people who'll never be able to purchase any of the cars posted trying to tell the manufacturers or tuner companies how they should do it.

wow hot. i remembr when the F01 came out i wasnt really impressed but their designs start growing on you. would choose this over an s-class in a heartbeat. and what performance boost? this is a kit, slap it on a 740 or a 760. what more do you want?

Obviously you're all BMW fans. Remember the Peugeot 607? This 7series is not only ugly beyond description, but just too long! Handling issues galore awaits. The 750iL of two generations ago (Transporter, The World is Not Enough), remains the most elegant and sporty 7 ever penned. Chris Bangled 'flame surfaced' buffoonery continues unabated.

ahem, i hate to be a Bond geek but he had a 7 series in Tomorrow never dies and a Z8 in The World is not enough- which was cut in half with circular saws... whether this sis a good or bad thing depends on your taste in BMWs- personally i liked the Z8 and old 7 series and dislike the Z4 and current 7

Very, very nice! Your best bet is to play is simple and clean if you're going to toy with a luxury saloon. I'd like to see what they'd do on the SLS amidst the recent garbage. The "it's too long" comments are so annoying. If you'd prefer it shorter then you'd get yourself a 5 series. It's a luxury saloon..It's supposed to be lengthly. And there are luxury saloons that handle quite well for the record. And also..it's no longer than the stock model and it's barely an inch longer the previous. Bellissimo!

It's a nice car, my only problem is... it doesn't has the business/serious look anymore like S-Class and A8 do.

The F01 has, by far, without a doubt, the ugliest tail lights of any BMW I've ever seen in my entire life, no exaggeration. They look nothing like what BMW taillights should look like, they're not the least bit Germanic and they seem like Lexus LS rejects. The 5GT has the same problem. It's extremely upsetting. Since when do the Germans copy the Japanese? I thought it was supposed to be the other way around. While there are some people that might genuinely like them, I think most sheeple just settle for whatever these companies shove down our throats either because they have no sense of aesthetics or company design-language or because they're blinded by unabated brand loyalty. Those are the same people that tend to find the previous Z4 roadster, the 6-series, the X6, the 5-series Gran Turismo, and the previous 7-series not only acceptable but even attractive. The previous model's taillights were hideous as well, but at least they looked characteristically BMW and you could tell from a mile away that you're looking at a BMW 7. While I'm at it, what's with the uninspired bottom lip on the front fascia of the stock F01? It's too straight, flat, and wide and it's set too high. It's as though the designer was upset with BMW and decided to exact his revenge by designing the lower grill this way and convincing the higher-ups that this was the way to go. Until these morons in Munich get their act together, my driveway will always have either an S-class, an A8/S8, or a Quattroporte in it.
