I'm reminded of the 3-series. In fact, this should have been a 2011 3-series. I noticed they traded out the ugly tiangle tail lights for a more Kia look in the back!!! Not impressed. Looks average and cheaper than it is.

looks like a big 3 series with 7 series interior.
very bland design. i think the BMW Board decided not to go for anything exciting in the 5er.

What a joke.."The most beautiful BMW of our time" Might possibly be true..everything else is even uglier. This thing looks like a 3 series. Loved the older 5s much better. At least they had distinctive class.

obviously i am bmw fan.. but i feel exactly the same too... a bit disappointed ... it looks too similar to 3-series....

I just want an opinion on BMW interiors, I think they are sensational, in comparison to MB's mismash in the E Class, but is it a good idea that all new BMW interiors are identical, does it make the 7 now appear down market or the 5 upmarket? MB seems to have a different feel wiht each class but with some familiar details, thoughts anyone?

Honestly, i like it! I'm sure that many of the ones who say the F10 is ugly will change their minds when'll see it live. Looks like a 3 series...looks like a 7 series. Of course, they are family.

i thought the 7 series will look better in the flesh. it doesn't. i don't like the front end of this new 5 series , it's like something is missing. and i like BMW , that's why i'm disappointed.

i love it! i love the side profile and i love the interior, only thing that bugs me a bit is that for some reason the shape of the rear tail lights remind me of a g35

Congratulations. Like Audi, BMW now sells one car in three different sizes, just like a garment line. You can now buy a car in three sizes, 3,5, and 7. Ditto with GT series: GT3, GT5. Ditto with X series: X1, X3, X5.

There is still something weird in this car. Cut in the rear lights. Front is somehow a bit plain.
But overall looks are GREAT!

I love the interior, but I'm not so sure about the exterior. Somehow it looks extremely feminine, not as masculine as you would expect a BMW to be....I will wait to see it in flesh to make up my mind though.

WHAT THE F*CK are you talking about, the A6 is just as good as this one, not to mention xf.. And simply nothing can beat the interior of Audi.. But I like this 5-series more than the prior one..

the 535i is not a twin turbo, it's powered by the N55 which is a Single Turbo - perhaps you meant Twin Scroll, which basically means VGT, that would be correct
