Mercedes on Monday revealed Nico Rosberg as the team's first driver for 2010.
In the wake of the Stuttgart marque's majority buyout of the former Brawn GP team, 24-year-old Rosberg is Mercedes' first German driver since Karl Kling and Hans Herrmann in 1955.
Despite intense speculation linking Michael Schumacher with the other cockpit, compatriot Nick Heidfeld is regarded as the more realistic choice.

Indeed! Good Driver, look forward to seing him on the podium! Heidfield's very capable too. It would be a good selection and serious contender for the Title.

I really hope he does well.
Definitely the most sportsmanlike and enthusiastic driver.
Great guy, and I think he deserves some good representation.

If Nico Rosberg is the son of Finnish World Champion F1 driver Keke Rosberg, will that not make him a Finn or does Nico have dual nationality?
Whatever, Nico Rosberg will need to be driving very hard next season.
