the shape of those lights looks a lot like the current 3 series????perhaps under where the blacked out tape sits at the top of the light there will be led drl's???

...I dont see that...I do see the current headlights reflect the shape of the S class Headlights...you cant see alot with that tape covering them but the new lights seem to be more like the new SL headlights (which I don't think are particularily attractive).

I also dnt c any similarities between the c-class and the 3 series and my only problm with the C is the back, I thnk they tried too much to make it sporty I hope it will be smoother after this

i also feel sorry for my brother who just ordered a new c class, seems it wont be too long till his car looks old....oh well i told him not to get a c class anyway

That's another one of Autobild's photoshops, and certainly not official. Looks like they just graphed SL headlamps onto it and got creative with the bumper.

true, but Autobild's photoshops are alweighs REALLY close to what the actual car will look like (like the E class, SL, GL, etc...)

Sadly, Octavia copied body design and headlamp from Merc and then Merc applied those headlamps on the new C-class.

Are they trying to make this car ugly? i like the current headlights and i don't think they should make it look like the SL. i don't really know what is wrong with mercedes and BMW , i think their designs are getting uglier and uglier and not eye catching as it used to be.

In the end Its Mercedes-Benz, so they will make the right decision. However, in my personal opinion I would not try and use the headlight design of a facelifted car (SL) which is soon due for a new generation.
