Great! Finally some Euro GM coming to the Americas! This car will definitely do well.

The front end of the silver one looks like a european Civic.

Now you're being sarcastic, right? Cuz the 'silver one' is... uh... the most talked about american car of the year, aka the Volt.

how come commenting the Volt looking like a Euro Civic is sarcastic? Euro Civic looks good and has its own design language.

It should be noted that when the Cruze reaches American showrooms in early fall 2010, the six-speed automatic will be heavily revised from what is available now overseas. Chevrolet is reworking the transmission for smoother, faster shifts, correcting a problem that current Cruze owners are complaining about.

Not bad, not bad. I really hope that the car has some substance though. I remember my dad buying a Chevy Cavalier when I was 11 years old. The car seemed "cute", but it didn't take long to figure out that the substance wasn't quite there. This Cruze isn't a bad looking car, but so far, I am not a fan of this material they are using across the dashboard. I guess I will have to see/feel it in person.

Yep the materials are cheap because the Cruze is a cheap Korean car. Basically a Daewoo with a Chevrolet badge. My mom drives a Daewoo/Chevrolet Nubira, and the interior sucks. It's a 2004 model and it had a radio/c-cassette player as standard for crying out loud!! But on the other hand... American cars also use cheap materials. So I guess you won't notice the difference.

Did you ever sit in a Cruze? Is is very far from the Nubira, and better than any US Chevrolets.

I've checked the car at a nearby showroom last week, and, I'm very, very surprised and impressed. The dashboard and the materials all around albeit a bit hard, have quality feels to them. Even the buttons have this "satisfying" feeling to the touch. The steering wheel reminds me of Insignia's. Very good effort from (Korean) Chevrolet. The engine needs to be less lethargic, though.

I am not a fan of Korean or American cars, people, wait till you see this one live, I saw it and Cruze really looks great, from the inside and outside too. In my opinion it looks as nice as a lott more expencive cars, this one is cheap and looks great. I did not drive it so I cant say anything about the driving experience.

Why isn't the 1.4Turbo Cruze available in Europe? Crazy! Probably they don't want to disturb the Astra's market.
