As I said before, in the near future, people will die because of stucking in the air bags instead of an accident :))

They probably nicked a couple of Volvo's technical blueprints before they sold it off to the Chinese.

The americans are really crap they do nothing but stealing from the world population as Ford is doing such that In the video they said that they have invented the ROSP (Roll Stabilty Control) which is a Volvo Invention I hope Volvo will get rid of those Americans but not to Chineese Rubbish firms.

If I were to highlight, elucidate, and correct all the anti-american and automotive ignorance present in your comment I'd be typing until the arrival of the four horsemen.

XC90 - all the "Great Volvo Ideas" you're talking about came from when they were owned by FORD. Without Ford's money Volvo would have dissapeared from the world years ago. Volvo isn't getting rid of Ford, it's the other way around. Ford is tired of keeping them afloat. Let's see how great they are when the only person willing to buy them are the Chineese.

Well in 2006/2007 VOLVO,JAG,Landrover kept ford afloat, cause ford decided to stick to the SUV market, and that market went for a ball of SH#T last year ... And besides, Volvo trucks and the Swedish gov are looking to make other alternatives to keeping volvo, and not letting the chineese have them.

Crazy_Golf_Driver; I would love to know what figures you have to back up that statement, can you produce the production numbers that supposedly kept Ford alive?? And as well as doing that please produce the profit vs cost model for each of the models that saved ford as well so we can see exactly how much money was made to again keep Ford alive! The real case of the 2006/2007 era was the Alan Mullaly had just taken over at ford and was in the midst of completely changing the way Fords business model was structured. He also put his focus on the European arm of Ford to produce their new product lines. The reasons he did that was becaus in early 2006 he stated that Ford US was going to start utilising more of the European model floor plans to better utilise R&D and bring down production costs. Not only did he focus there but he was also out securing moneys to keep Ford alive while the industry as a whole was blind to what was going hit them head on. I myself applaud Ford and Alan Mullaly for what he has done in such a relatively short time span. I am also proud of them as an American since they are the only 1 of the big three that did not burden the future generations to be bailed out. And the last quarters earnings show that he has set Ford on a profitable path again. I guess after all my ranting, what I was trying to get at is you should really put up some facts if you are going to make such bold statements. Otherwise you may come across to some as being ignorant as most foriegn people like to call us Americans.
