MR Car Design has unveiled a heavily modified Volkswagen Scirocco, dubbed the Black Rocco.

Boasting an aggressive appearance, the car features a Rieger body kit (which consists of a front apron, side skirts, and rear valance with faux diffuser), a matte black paint scheme, and 20-inch 'Emotion' wheels with Hankook S1 EVO high performance tires.

Power comes from a 2.0-liter TSI engine that has been outfitted with a revised ECU, a downpipe, and a MR Car Design stage 3 turbo kit. Connected to a four tailpipe exhaust system, the engine produces 370 hp and 519 Nm of torque. Other performance tweaks include a limited slip differential, a Stoptech braking system (with 4-pistons calipers grabbing onto slotted discs that measure 355x32 mm), and V3-coilovers from KW Automotive.

Black Rocco by MR car Design

Tuner MR Car Design is specialized in refining upscale sports cars. MR Car Design launches a special edition based on the new Scirocco. This special edition convinces through a lot of design as well as horsepower.

The series engine of the Scirocco is very sporty. The series output rises to 370 hp and 519 Nm by optimizing the software, Downpipe and MR Car Design Stage Turbo kit 3. The backpressure optimized, manual welded, sport exhaust system from MR Car Design, made of steel and with TÜV certificate  adds up to the optimal Power output and the muffled thunderous sound. MR Car Design installs furthermore the 35% fins limited slip differential - therewith the speed gets on the road without wheelspin. With these changes the DSG-Software has to be adjusted.

MR Car Design mounts a Stoptech high performance brake system with 4-pistons an two-pieces slotted discs size 355x32 mm. The brake system is completed with the inovative  bleeding valve from Stahlbus.
New to the assortment are MR Car Design, 20" 1-part Emotion Wheels (Strada) aluminium rims. Hankook hoops the Scirocco with S1 EVO High performance tires (235/30 ZR20).

The bold on Tuning-Bodykit from Rieger consists of a front apron, side skirts, rear valance with diffuser optics.

KW Automotive adds to the ready for the race track set up with the approved  V3-coilovers.

Cover EFX (CFC Styling station) takes care of the outer appearance.  The car gets a sporty foliation and places with the expressive design elements an extra optic highlight.

nearly 400hp and front wheel drive, they must be mental, only if it could handle all the power that I won't be complaining.

A very nice looking car though, look menacing and powerful, a very good looking hatchback

Well it does look nice, but who thought putting 370bhp in the bloody front wheels would be a good idea?

So this is what the VW/Audi/.. group tuners been doing. One is trying to reduce the weight while the other is pumping up the engine throughput power. Well it's all about power to weight ratios to deliver meaner machines.

DARTH VADER. Sponsored by VeeDub. Hope VW can adapt Ford's innovative RevoKnuckle system on the hot Focus RS to this Black Beast's FWD system to keep those 370 horses in check. This shows VeeDub IROC(S)!

Through the front wheeels you will be shredding those beautiful (and most likely highly expensive) 20" on the front with maximum efficiency. Frankly, driving on 20" is nuts, I'm on 18"s and will probably 'regress' afterwards as it's pretty brutal on the nerves. All that said and done, nice Reiger kit, nice car and good tuning. Hope all parts last more than 50k miles after tuning.

I can't wait until some tuning company lies a v6 in it
