Mark Webber will test the car of his new GP3 team MW Arden, a collaboration with Red Bull boss Christian Horner, on 17 November at Paul Ricard.
"I'm intrigued to see what the cars are like to drive, while I also see this as an opportunity to get the series a bit of publicity," the Australian wrote in a column for the Sydney based Daily Telegraph.
Future Renault driver Robert Kubica, meanwhile, is considering entering a Clio into the French championship Rallye du Var late this month.
"It's not 100 per cent certain, but there's a strong possibility," the Pole told French magazine Auto Hebdo.
