I love this car, it's like a Lancia Stratos for the 10's! It just has one flaw as I see it (as did the Stratos), it's RWD. 4WD would make this a proper rallycar for all kinds of surfaces, not just the "deserts of the American Southwest"!

So the parallel with a Stratos is what exactly? Different continents, different engine/transmission configurations, different heritages... They are as similar as Miley Cyrus and Luciano Pavarotti!

in what way? the Lancia Stratos is one of the most beautiful car ever made and this? I'm not saying this car is ugly, but compare to Lancia Stratos......

The differences are what makes it the modern "equivalent", instead of the Ferrari-sourced engine it's a clean diesel for eco-minded times. Midship is highly inconvenient if you actually want to use the car as a daily driver, but they're both coup?s meant for rough terrain, and I bet the Stratos has been an inspiration! While it's no Bertone, I think it's an excellent looking car, and the way the car was "designed by competition" is more with the times than anything else with the car! Not to forget the fact that it's a purpose-designed rally-car...
