Hennessey will introduce their 2010 HPE700 LS9 Chevrolet Camaro early next month during the SEMA Show.  The car uses a 6.2-liter supercharged engine that produces up to 725 horsepower and a huge 741 ft-lb of torque.

The company also plans to release two twin-turbo versions, with one producing between 800 and 850 hp and, and the other kicking out 1,000 hp and up to 900 ft-lb of torque.

Top speed on the 725 hp version was not released, but it does hit 60 mph in just 3.5 seconds, reaching the quarter-mile mark at 11.3 seconds (126 mph).  Slam on the brakes at 60 mph, and you will get to a dead stop in 104 feet.

This is because of the six-piston calipers at the front, and four-piston calipers at the back, from Brembo.  15-inch cross-drilled rotors are covered by 20x10 inch light alloy wheels up front, and 14-inch rotors are concealed by 20x11 inch wheels at back.

You can read the spec lists for the three tuning packages in the press release section below.

Looks nice, best looking Camaro and the performance is impressive also, but i think the exhausts are small they need to upsize them

BTW, i heard many bad comments before about HPE work quality, does any one here has an idea about them?

Wait wait wait.If the 725 N/A version does 0-60 in 3.5 seconds, it's scary to think what the 1000+hp twin-turbo version will do...

Looks incredible, but in the end it'll just be another American car with too much horsepower and too little handling. I'd rather have a car that can go around a corner fast than one that can't.

Its not going to turn/corner like a LP560-2 but nevertheless you're underestimating the quality suspension and handling work that Hennessey does, we're not talking "Joe 6packs garage".

ok,i like the car,but if nissan has the capacity to get 480hp out of a 3.8 v6 than why do you need a 6.2 v8 or v12, not specified at the top, and the gtr 35 goes0-50 in 3.5 sec.

Because a large displacement engine offers an amount of Torque that a smaller displacement engine can't offer even with Turbos. Turbos create torque but only to an extent. When you add turbos to a large engine you get @$$loads of power and torque, not to mention a totally different kind of drive.

Yeah, it's not just about 0-60, it's also about 60-100!

0-60 sorry, but think about it, though people are amazed on how much hp you can get out of an engine, y not impress them more by doing it in a smaller v8 or in a v6 possibly,

Those pics are of the 6.2 supercharged version. Which means they took the engine out of someone elses ZR-1 and then told them a part was back ordered.

"took the engine out of someone elses ZR-1 and then told them a part was back ordered." - i hope that part isn't wrote "fine printed" when buying this Twin-turbo machine :)

I highly doubt its an engine from an actual ZR-1, more likely Hennessey buys pre-installed ZR-1 motors for their own purposes.
