2010 McLaren MP4-12C - in Color
When unveiling the new MP4-12C, McLaren Automotive said the car would be available in a broad range of exterior paint colours, interior colours and configurations. The orange one is so far the most visible but with Photoshop anything is possible.
Red, yellow, black and blue supercars are quite familiar, especially those of Italian origin. While something like pink or even purple on the other hand would probably not fly with too many customers. Nonetheless, it is always interesting to consider the possibilities.
The MP4-12C uses a 3.8-litre twin turbo making around 447kW (608hp) and 600Nm of torque. Power goes to the rear wheels via a quick 7-speed Seamless Shift dual clutch gearbox (SSG).
McLaren will launch the car in 2010 as a 2011 model.

Black or silver makes it look like a carrera gt.
White makes it look like the evora.
Orange or yellow makes it look like a gallardo.
Red is too ferrari.
I'll have the dark green found in the McLaren F1 car. Oh hey, it still looks like a LOTUS!!!

Wow, have it in bright red and it can easily be mistaken for a Ferrari.

Silver livery will evoke memories of original F1 McLaren made between 1992 to 1998. However, the MP4- 12C has such a revolutionary design language that it makes comparisons with F1 futile, except for roofline, glass area and some rear detailing.
