ASI has created a new sub-brand, dubbed ASI Green, to build and market tuning packages for the Toyota Prius.

While details are limited, the company stated "We are conducting parallel development using both the Japan and North American versions of the Prius as our research vehicles and will be announcing details of our specific projects soon."

Eventually, ASI Green will offer body kits, revised ECU modules, suspension lowering kits, interior customization components, and a wide variety of forged wheels.

Look for more information to be released as it becomes available.

lol, april fools if over WFC. No car nut would buy a prius, let alone waste money on styling this car. I'd rather shoot myself, then ask someone to burn me to a crisp before even buying or advising someone to buy a prius.

you are damn ignorant. I can imagine to own a prius and buy me some styling accessoires or performance upgrades for it. It's currently the only available full-hybrid in a lower price-segment and so everyone should optimize it like he wants.

the bodykit shown here isn't my taste (maybe it's the extreme lowered body - the scirts are nice), but I hope for more variations

I think it looks great! I own several italian sportcars and we all have to be more open minded of the future... more electric(total or hybrid) This is a new era and the cars will be faster and improved styling, like the fisker Karma.

But will it be more aerodynamical with that tuning front end than the original?? Prius has to be economical, not ''fast and furious''

The grill on that front bumper will not only fry all the roadkill you can scoop, but those huge "splitters" will ensure the dinner is nicely cut into bitesize pieces! Translation: that front bumper sucks!

why there are prius hater? is it because they are fans of other brand that cannot make innovations? common guys, if you think the prius sucks, then how come that it was the best selling car in japan?

I'm not a big fan of this kit but the Prius isn't that bad of a car. If you buy a Prius aren't you buying it for gas mileage? Why would you tack on extra weight and un-aerodynamic aids? A performance kit would be counter intuitive unless you could adjust on the go.
