Porsche has unveiled a new commercial to help promote the launch of the highly controversial Panamera hatchback.
While we're still not convinced the Panamera is a thing of beauty, the commercial is simply amazing. The CGI animation features a glorious glimpse of virtually every single Porsche ever created. However, the message Porsche is trying to convey is that the Panamera occupies a new branch on the Porsche family tree, a "true sports car for four."
As we have previously reported, the Panamera S/4S features a naturally aspirated 4.8-liter V8 engine that produces 400 bhp and 500 Nm of torque. The range-topping Panamera Turbo boasts a twin-turbo 4.8-liter V8 that turns out 500 bhp and 700 Nm torque. It accelerates from 0-62 mph in 4.2 seconds and has a top speed of 188 mph.

Panamera S competes with Maserati Quattroporte, while Turbo would tackle the Aston Rapide. I don't count Estoque because it's practically in the same company ;) i think it's a good competitor of Ferrari 612 too.
Bentley Continental Flying Spur is another example of inside-company "competitors", but im sure VW will figure something out.
on a side note, Ive been pronouncing "Panamera" very very wrong.
