2010 Nissan Micra Designs Leak

"Fiat mated with a MINI" is EXACTLY what this is. Not an original design idea on it. Shame on Nissan!

what the?!!! this is utter rubbish. sorry Nissan much as i love you, this is a massive dissapointment, especially as design chief Shiro Nakamura said that you werent going to make a boring looking car again. or words to that effect...

Man, it is about time they ditched the Mk3 micra. I think Nissan finally got it to their heads they realised how dated it is. Anyway, I thought this looks like a Yaris mating with a Mini instead...

they should have made a tall, sporty micro-qashqai. that leaked design looks fragile and dated to me.

its just a facelift of the older model!!!! would it have been so hard to create an all new design like ford did with the new fiesta?

It doesn't look like MINI at all.

This looks dated already. And what is with the boomerang on the roof? Is that what it takes for it to look different? Very poor

its a rip-off, of fiat and mini but this model is 1000x uglier and has no style. its just a empty shell, on the bottom of see that no one needs becasue its to small and narrow and looks like a fish everybody wants to eat.....and its closest neighbour is a super hungry squid called ....Moe

All I can say is I prefer these ACCURATE line drawings to the air-brush 'conceptual' stuff that doesn't correspond to reality (even if in this case reality isn't anything to write home about). But to all the complainers: Do you actually live in "China, Thailand, India, and two other leading competitive countries" (and make an average income for there, or even for top 25%?) Get real, this car is the modern Yugo, and you get what you pay for. Nissan is not going to pull it's best designers off it's cash-cows like it's sportscars and Infinities to make a prettier Yugo.

Agreed, definitely the product of some fiat-mini sexy time. But honestly, I really hope they bring this car to the Americas, especially with the 1.2/3L. I give props for Nissan making a car like this. It's definitely what the world needs versus modern big ugly underpowered bloated toyotas and the like everywhere...

it reminds me of Citroen C3 with DS3 grill...

I wonder has Nissan considered selling the Micra in North America. I have my doubts, considering it may cut into sales of the Versa and Cube models.
