I hope Jean Todt loses as it will be Ferrari Drivers & Constructers World Champions for the length of Todt's presidency. I hope Vatanen wins and beat Todt to a pulp in the votes.

nope. you're basically saying you can't ever work for a second employer in the same industry. football stars can't switch?? coaches can't switch? conflict of interest is ONLY when under pay from a secondary company with interests. IF todt was paid in any way by any team, fair enough. as long as his employment is entirely terminated it's fine. very different to situations like flavio and bernie co-owning a football team... coincidence that the ferrari beating rules of 05 vaulted renault to the top?? formula1 is not clean, but todt's election is not a problem - at least he knows his topic.
