Mercedes brought the new SLS AMG supercar to a gathering of classic 300 SLs in Sedona, California.
While details are limited, the event featured a 1955 300 SL Alloy Coupe (just one of 29) that was raced by Bruce Kessler and Lance Reventlow. Overall, the show attracted more than 30 vehicles and plenty of German car fans.
As we have previously reported, the SLS AMG features a 6.3-liter V8 engine with 420 kW (571 hp) and 650 Nm of torque. Backed up by a seven-speed transmission, the SLS accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 3.8 seconds, before hitting a top speed of 317 km/h (197 mph).

New SLS can't be compared with glorious 300 SL models but it is certainly one of a kind and beautiful modern day masterpiece from Merc AMG! I like it very much!
I'll have you baby!
@ Hemi, it's actually quite a small car. If you actually look at its scale in reference to humans you'll see. The IAA photos are a good indicator of its size.
