Exactly my thoughts, I would be embarassed in the SLS or R8 for that matter if I can't shake this thing off... the wonders of forced induction

Agreed. Matte black only works on a few cars. With a stock paint colour and de-riced bodywork, this car would be amazing. You'd just have to wait a while for the turbo to catch up with your foot position.

"sideskrapper" - The bodywork present on this model is stock. The TT-RS comes this the body work you see in this model. And as for been riced. Keep in mind designers spend hours creating the bodywork to improve handling, airflow and looks. but then you must be one of those who finds the corvette a masterpiece. If you want boring, go ahead and drive the American so-call sportscar, if you want power, try a tuned european engineered car and try not to scream like a little girl when we're to fast for you.

Nope I don't like the american idea of aesthetics. I was just expressing a desire for a sleeper version of this car. The new suspension and wheel setup, combined with the paint job makes it scream "look at me" and not in a good way. I disliked the stock TT-RS appearance. It's too "in your face" for me. FWIW I like tuned euro cars. And I love European cars in general. All three cars I own are European. But just because something comes from Europe doesn't mean it's beautiful or amazing or even tasteful.

It looks like we're on the same page for this one. Although I love the look of matte black, it only works on select vehicles. Audi's overly-organic design language (especially for the TT) does not work well with this colour. I'm not totally turned off from the TT-RS's wider fenders and more aggressive front fascia but I do believe a more reflective and brighter paint colour would go a long way to tone down the looks.

Yup. I think this car would probably look it's best in plain old German racing silver or a metallic gray or blue. Actually most of the normally boring Audi metallic/pearl paint range would look great on this.

WOW!!! That's almost as much torque as the LP640. I am loving this car.

Agreed with Scratchy 996 and n20 purge-without the matte black paint job it rly could have been a serious-looking streetweapon...

Amazing what a tuner might tweak a small 2.5 Litres 5-cyl engine while still make it street legal to drive around. No matter what the color, the power to weight ratio of this beast declared that it's definitely a monster in bug appearance.
