In a gas hybrid the electric motors should ALL be aligned with the driveline shaft, otherwise it would be awkward to drive. I can see an all electric having 4 motors at each wheel, but that is a different brand.
Sounds like this may actually get better MPG than the 25mpg GS350h.

Nissan is always late to the party. This car should have been the 2009 Maxima, and not the bangled up looking piece of junk that's out there. Style plus engineering, makes a good car. Not just engineering only.
