I really dislike this whole engine freeze and development freeze. We all know that the economy will recover and during its highs and lows there will be teams that survive and others that don't. I have been less than pleased with F1 since the freezes have taken place. I think F1 was at is finest during the Turbo era and just after the Turbo era when teams were allowed to think outside the box and develop amazing power plants and technologies. That was what made F1 the pinnicle of Motor Racing. The FIA and the Regulators need to be ousted and the competativness needs to be reinfused into the sport to bring it back to the top spot in Motorsports again.

Tiny violin? We will see three/four new teams working their tales off next season thanks to these equalisation rules. How is that a bad thing? I welcome the new age of F1 with open arms.

F1 is making this sport more competitive driver wise rather than manufacturer wise. Which is basically killing the sport.

I absolutely agree with you. And since I have been a fan of Ferrari's for 20+ years I would prefer the manufacturers competing. In F1 it is about the manufacturer rather than the driver since most drivers only last a few seasons and rarely do they start and stay with the same manufacturer. I find it to be regressing when you handicap the major teams to please the begining and lesser teams. And the sport can not be the Pinnicle if it is regressing in its performance and show. That would be like telling all the fastest running backs in football to slow down to so the lesser players can compete with them. Drivers are just that, drivers. If the manufaturers keep getting frozen in their development then we will end up with nothing more than IRL on a global scale.

i agree , F1 should be the cutting edge of motorsport technology, changing that will kill F1, which already lost a lot of popularity in the last years because of Bernie and his stupid regulation changes.
