There's nothing stopping him going to LMS, IRL, or other non FIA sanctioned series. I am unsure about European civil law courts, but I can almost guarantee that he will not be able to seek a recourse via the courts. Precedent will have been established by Doctors, Lawyers, and other licensed professionals who have been struck.

"he has been left without his means of earning a living" the guy's got enough money for 5 lifetimes. Give it a rest, you're a cheat and an embarrassment to the sport. Good riddance, you and Piquet should not be allowed within 50 yards of an F1 event. Ever!
