Yes! When the SLS was revealed, the first thing I said was, "They need to put flares over the wheel arches like they had on the 300SL." (I also said the headlamps should be more circular.) Surprisingly for a Lorinser product, I'm not appalled by this.

i am so glad you made that point about the dressings on the wheel arches, thought i was the only one who was disappointed by their absence on the production model. m-b dropped the ball big time on that one by not including this element in the final design. the hood on this one looks the way it ought to on the production version as well. i am not a fan of the front bumper on this though, i think having the traditional amg-like front air dam clashes with the direction of the rest of the front. m wheels could be better too.

that little fender trim is what the SLS is missing. now, the character of the gullwing is there.

now that didn't take long for tuners to come up with a new style for this car. and may I say it's an improvement. But still prefer the SLR over this. Far more aggressive. This model has just lost that agressive look and replaced it with more style and elegance.

Yup- only a matter of time till tuners start slapping the ricer look on a beautifully designed car. Carbon fiber everywhere, useless body kit, blacked out rims, maybe even a rear wheel cover? Seriously. Leave it alone!!!!

I'm surprise, Lorinser usually create stuff I hate, this one is seriously good. I mean it has the wheel arch and hood stuff to make it much more elegant and beautiful

The trademark wheel arch for a Lorinser hits the Gspot! That's the 'Gullwing' spot for the impressionable minds here! Orange on a Merc? Naff. The two-tone black and red is more like it.
