The 0-100 km/h figure is 3.7 seconds or 9.8 seconds?

Wait, why did you include the 0-60 & 0-100km/h? Never seen the 0-60km/h of a car described. And what happens when you stumble upon a corner in this baby car?

yeah title is very misleading lol it says 0-100KPH in 3.7 seconds, but then the article says 0-100KPH in 9.8 seconds... just a mix up with the 0-60KPH time i guess. and i agree with 911fnatic, it is odd to post a 0-60KPH time...

Sorry everyone, the sub headline is incorrect. It should read 0 - 60km/h in 3.7 seconds. However, the data in the article correct.

apart from the misleading title and SUBtitle (very well put kimbo my man), this is a piece of c.ap car. how much is this plastic for my little nephew toy? 100 grand? that's travelling green, right? ...no emissions, LOW COST, and im sure youre safe in that plastic coffin. what do you mean `fantastic car`, vertigobike? you sick -(cesnsored)-. gentlemen, arent you sick of so many EVs? how many of you at elast 5 of the modern evs in your town/city? I BET NONE OF YOU. and how many of you will afford to travel so "green" when these cars are at the price of a full size sedan? how many of your parents will say "let's sell the volvo dear, and buy ourselves a nice EV from toyota....or nissan..or should we take the brabus smart with the tesla "bring world peace to africa and iran/iraq" engine? not my parents. and if my future children, decide one day to buy one of these, god forbid and please let this be my will, i will step on their little heads with my size 10+ boots.

Take it for what it is, a limited 'albino edition' Smart car with an electric engine. And yes I see on average 1 Smart car everyday, so electric in North America could be a viable option for people that want one.

Are you that ridiculously stupid norther? It has nothing to do with being green (although it is a bonus in the long run), but more having to do with the fact that oil is a precious commodity. Oil is finite, or did that slip out your brain before you insulted vertigobike? You see, oil is expected to run out in the next 20 to 50 years. Now tell me, how will you drive your gas burner with no oil? This man (I use that lightly to describe norther) is the stereotype of what got America (and makes me sad to be an American) into this depression. No foresight or intelligence what-so-ever. No I go on and applaud Brabus for finally bringing an electric version of the Smartcar, although I would've liked to have seen a motor at each wheel. I can't wait to see what new electric vehicles come out in the near future.

i am completely aware that oil is running out. im just sick of ....of.... these "alternatives", especially the EVs, (ok, maybe this brabus smart was just a show off), but still, it stands for what it is, and its counterparts; which is noneother than.....evs. which are considered to be the "future", right? so how can we save our planet when they want us to buy those matchboxes (and im not refering to the toys, which are better btw) with 0000 in their price? isnt money part of this "great depression"? yes, it is. it is part of everything. so this is not a cheap alternative, it is not green at all. plus, try to read and see how evs are produced...im reffering to their battery packs... see how green is that. and dude..... i aint no american, i aint driving no merc, no lambo, no nothing.... no rich folks kid.... but i know that even a golf TDI is greeener than that..or any ev; and its in the buget of almost anyone.

Americans will never understand the quality of these small cars which are better built than most of the rubbish you buy in the big US of A's. That's ok, you can keep your American cars, all I know is that the only Fords/Chevrolet cars being sold in Europe are made in the UK and Korea respectively. EV or not, your logic is flawed on a much more basic level of understanding. Small cars make sense, SUVs for road use don't so that effectively renders most of your American made cars irrelevant to the global market. This just about sums up what's wrong with your way of thinking, enjoy: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Oo7U_bTsiC4&feature=related
