Mansory Cyrus based on Aston Martin DBS or DB9

Mansory presents the Cyrus package based on the Aston Martin DBS or the DB9. The Cyrus emphasises masculinity and power with its newly designed front skirt with enlarged air inlets, the carbon fibre wing extensions and the newly designed rear skirt with an integrated diffuser. The two slotted power domes on the carbon fibre bonnet send extra air into the 12 cylinder engine. Completing the picture are the stainless steel tailpipes attached to the sonorous sport exhaust system.

The car squats on large 9x20 front and 10.5x21 rear ultra-forged rims wrapped in 255/30ZR20 front and 295/25ZR21 rear Dunlop Sport Maxx tyres. The coilover suspension has been adjusted to lower the centre of gravity and improve road holding.

Mansory's definition of luxury extends to the interior where tailor-made carbon fibre parts are found. They include some bits from the dashboard, the centre console and the re-designed steering wheel. Foot pedals are made of aluminium while the door sills and head rests feature embroidered CYRUS logos. Hand-stitched leather covers the seats, parts of the dashboard and inside the door panels.

MANSORY CYRUS -
Spectacular broad construction based on the Aston Martin DB9 or DBS

Already for more than 20 years, the Bavarian company MANSORY has been developing and producing fascinating car modifications for demanding customers all over the world. The latest creation of the top-class manufacturer is called MANSORY CYRUS and is based on the Aston Martin DBS or DB9. Perfect processing and an elaborate technology are the hallmarks of this masculine aerodynamic power pack. A coilover suspension provides the best road holding and emphasises the striking rims in XXL. The refinement is perfected by an exclusive interior programme.

Haute Couture on wheels
Tailor-made processing and perfect surfaces confirm the superb quality of the MANSORY designer outfit. The CYRUS aerodynamics components are made of extremely light „prepreg autoclav carbon" and do not only include wing extensions for the front and back, but also side skirt attachments and linings. At the front axle, a newly designed front skirt with enlarged air inlets provides the optimal ventilation for the twelve-cylinder aggregate. The CYRUS front is visually enhanced with the newly designed carbon bonnet. With its two slotted "power domes" additional fresh air is directed to the front motor. Also at the tail, the refining engineers have invented something extraordinary in order to perfect the visual appearance of the Aston Martin. The newly designed rear skirt with the integrated diffuser emphasises the superior look and provides space for four stainless steel end pipes of the sonorous sport exhaust system.

Design wheels in XXL
The optimal road grip is provided by the 9x20 and 10,5x21 inch rims in combination with Dunlop Sport Maxx tyres measuring 255/30ZR20 at the front and 295/25ZR21 at the back. The design of the ultra-light forged wheel thereby unites sportiness and elegance and perfectly fills out the wheel houses. In addition, an optimally adjusted coilover suspension lowers the centre of gravity of this noble sports car and renders perfect road holding characteristics.

Luxurious atmosphere in the MANSORY super sports car

The CYRUS driver will take his seat in a elaborately refined interior which is nothing short of the exterior. The entire modification includes pedals and foot rests made of aluminium as well as exquisite door sills and head rests with embroidered CYRUS logos. MANSORY enhances the interior with a set of tailor-made carbon parts for the dash board and centre console. Generally, the noble interior is only lined with best quality materials. Decoration stitches by expert hand on the dash board and the seats render visual high-lights and perfect the significantly beautiful overall impression of the complete leather equipment. The ergonomically re-designed steering wheel with airbag lies especially well in the hand.

A beautiful car... made to look rubbish by completely overdoing it with way too much carbon fibre. This is the automotive equivalent of an expensive hooker in a see through dress. Great in very specific contexts, but a but embarassing everywhere else. Is Mansory the German Project Kahn?

I love Mansory 8) They're always doing "too much" in terms of tuning particular car, but I love what they do to any car.

it's not real carbon fibre you know, it's that cheap roll of sticky vinyl you that max power followers get from Halfords.

so this is...what, the 3rd tuned aston? at least this is how many ive encountered. i always wondered why astons are so rarely tuned. and the other makes like ferraris, lambos, porsches... people have no problem tuning them (sometimes with a lot of bad taste). but whats wrong with aston? i wanna see an aston, as sexy as this, but with 700bhp. whats the big deal? do it ppl....:)

what do you think of the edo enzo xx evolution?

i wrote in the article what i think about edo's enzo. it is ugly, pig ugly. yes, hell fast, but pig ugly. the same story with bugatti... what's his/her name... ok the interior is stunning. but apart from that, and the performance... and those 8 tailpipes, bleah! edo's enzo i think it doesent even have an interior. it's all metal and carbon and.... loud and hard. you get me.. i just wanna see a sexy tuned aston (like this one for example) but with a lot more ponies. that stone age engine, 6.0, V12, 460-470hp.. in my opinion is the only thing what puls aston down. just take a look at the competition

Just leave the car alone anything you do will make the car worse, because Aston perfected it years ago.

I agree with N20 Purge, i think its good and totally different, i reckon it could be as quick as a one-77 with lap times, the one-77 is only a litre or so more bigger then the DB9/DBS engine. good example is the lamborghini gallardo's with twin turbo V10 it would differently outrun a one-77 with two turbos and massive brakes

 M! M!
most manufacturers use CF to reduce weight. there is zero mention of how much weight savings there is on this piece of xxxx. you can see Mansory cares only about looks and not about performance. btw the CF weaves look funny. you look at something like a pagani the CF is gorgeous. (edit. wait. the CF does look funny. why? it is a FUXKING VINYL STICKER) (no wonder why there is no mention of weight savings. LAME) MAN, SORRY!!!

is the carbon fiber on the body of the car just a paint job or is it really carbon fiber? the press release doesn't say anything about a full carbon fiber body. so i guess only the bumpers, side skirts and the bonnet are actually made of carbon fiber. i'm pretty sure they would mention the exterior made entirely of carbon fiber if they really would have done it. that's just sad, sticking CF stickers on the car. it just ADDS weight.
