Great video. It really gives the emotion of driving the vehicle. This car is gorgeous as a spyder IMO.

Ya I'd rather have the R8. I see Lambos everyday and the R8 has that Ironman image - just cool. It has the best interior of any supercar and since Audi owns Lambo and even was behind the development of the V10 it makes perfect sense, just as the S6, S8 do.

I was reading this and across the canal from my window, is an infamous bit of straight, quiet road that gets used for unofficial "road testing" often... I've just seen a Gallardo spider (in yellow) whipped to 100mph along there! Love the R8 - but it can't much the Gallardo for auto-erotiCAR!?

It's very interesting to see that people always compare 2 cars with totally different style and level...though the engine of R8 came from Gallardo, their marketing position and style are totally different. Comparing R8 to Gallardo is something like comparing S-Class/7/A8 to Ghost, which always happen though...

comparing an r8 to the lp-560 is comparing apples to apples - nothing\s wrong here. They're both mid-engined supercars with the same engine and some components, they both have similar performance and they cost very nearly the same. Audi looks amazing in real life, but it's still an Audi. Lambo is exotic supercar, choice is easy.

Sadly the United States is no longer the car buying super power we once were. Because of that many of the coolest cars out there are not even being shipped to the United States. Take the Audi R8 Spyder for example, very cool, yet we cant get one here in the states.
