Ok, I do realize that it's a Bugatti, and that it's a seriously rare special edition, but $2.8 mil??? Come on, even if I owned a freekin oil field I wouldn't pay that much for a car.

Its probably an investment. I mean first editions could fetch significantly more in the future when the car itself is out of production.

if you own a freakin' oil field , you don't look at the price , you just buy it if you like it.that's what money is for.
i like it , i would buy it if i were a billionaire. heck, i would buy 2 , one for the chateau in southern France and one for the 50m yacht, so i have a ride on land when i dock the yacht somewhere.

Eh, that's a complain? 2.5 million is a "bargain," for it takes VW 5 million Euro to build a Veyron :(

Bugatti first said that it would only produce 300 of car then they introduced I-don't-know-what special edition with only 10 to make then the Pur Sang special edition then Hermes special edition then the Bleu Centenaire spcail edition and those are only for the coupe!!!. Bugatti is becoming less and less special!!!

Great car.. I really want to see more on the Galibier though. The Veyron is due for an entire exterior update.
