I truly hope SAAB go on to be properly successful. They could do with the 9-1 coming out and injecting some youthfulness into the brand to dispel the staid image. That article says 2.8 V8. Should that not be 2.8 V6? The title of the article should be '2010 SAAB 9-5 World Premiere at 2009 IAA in Frankfurt' not '... 200 IAA...' Perhaps Koenigsegg will pop in the CCX engine...

It looks really just like an American: too fat... Yeah maybe the USA will be the most important market, but it should be 100% European.

Too fat? Lol. I'm a 150lb american and it fits just right. Seriously, It looks much smaller than a 5-series or E-class and the platform size seems appropriate too.

I actually like the design. In all honesty Saabs were ugliest when they were an independent company. So even thought I will vomit after saying this, thanks for this one GM.
