Great curves and much more aggressive looking. Can't wait to see the real thing but a five door for me to shuttle the kids around LOL!!! Large air intakes means more power and clean slick design makes it even more appealing...a definite must have to add to the collection.

I think the old one is better looking, this one looks cheap. I have the same opinion about the GTI the old one is better looking.

Why all the fuss? S3 was out years ago and this is simply a carbon copy with a different badge (and doubtfully a better interior). I'd take a 2nd hand S3 and pocket copious amounts of change thanks.

Is this a joke? It's even less distinguishable from the standard Golf than the GTI. Most mundane looking Golf R ever. Same old boring black stripe between the headlights (the so-called "new face of Volkswagen" is actually the early 90's face of Volkswagen), the spoiler is different and the mirrors are black but that's it. Plain looking five-spoke rims like it was still 2002. The black/grey chairs look exactly like the ones in a 5 year old cheapo Skoda Octavia RS. The 4-door version looks so lame it's practically indistinguishable from the entry-level Trendline model driven by little old ladies. It costs twice the amount but the only evidence is under the hood. This hot hatch isn't even lukewarm. Thank god I bought the Golf V GTI before they replaced it with these watered down VI designs...
