Following the introduction of the 2010 E-Class Estate, Mercedes unveiled the high performance E 63 AMG wagon.
In terms of styling, the E 63 features an aggressive front bumper (with massive air intakes and LED daytime running lights), 18-inch AMG wheels, a rear diffuser, and a four-tailpipe exhaust system.
Power comes from a 6.3-liter (6208cc) V8 engine with 386 kW (525 hp) and 630Nm (465 lb-ft) of torque. The engine is connected to a seven-speed Speedshift MCT automatic transmission, which enables the wagon to rocket from 0-100 km/h in 4.6 seconds. Despite the epic performance, the wagon is expected to consume 12.8L/100km (18.4 mpg) in the combined cycle.
Other performance features include a newly developed AMG Ride Control sports suspension (which automatically adjusts the damping to best suit the current driving situation), a beefier front axle, and optional ceramic-composite brakes.
Like the standard E-Class Estate, the E 63 can hold up to 1,950 liters (68.9 cubic feet) of luggage. The car also features an "easy-pack" automatic tailgate, a "quickfold" system (which lowers the rear seats), and a load compartment cover.
The E 63 AMG Estate will be launched in February 2010, with German prices starting at 108,409 euros (incl. 19% VAT).

A boot with a huge load volume and a high degree of functionality
With a volume of between 695 and 1,950 litres, the luggage area has not only been expanded but is also way ahead of the competition in terms of the most important load compartment capacity dimensions and load compartment volume. Standard equipment includes the major components from the EASY-PACK system, including the folding load compartment floor with two loading levels and folding box, the load compartment cover, the Quickfold system for convenient folding down of the rear seats with its 1/3–2/3 division and the electric EASY-PACK tailgate.
The market launch of the new E 63 AMG estate will be in February 2010 at a price of 108,409 euros (incl. 19 % VAT).
