I just drove the new Taurus SHO with EcoBoost last week and was very impressed. Ford has done well with this.

finally they have made a new worthwhile and worth the expense engine. its been along time since they made something this nice, a good upgrade from the crappy gas guzzling v8s from the US. I am very interested in the 2.0l unit and i am sure it will be a winner

Is that a timing belt cover I see on the 1.6 EcoBoost? The newer generation 1.8, 2.0, 2.3 and 2.5 liter Duratecs use timing chains.

A 2.0 litre EcoBoost Mondeo would make a very interesting opponent to Volkswagen's Passat TFSI ;)
