It's a shame they've felt the need to make this car look different to the regular Up. It looks like a backward step to me.

Maybe the regular Up (if all goes well and its produced) will probably also look something like this.

i agree , this almost looks less modern then the standard up concept , i hope no eu regulations ruin the simplicity of the design

it has lost the purity or the minimalism of the original concept car brilliant packaging none of the less, spiritual of the original beetle. mitsubishi i does it, so when will vw?

Finaly they catch Up! with Toyota and PSA. Tru, it is a different then original, but must have to be...it is a concept and still very eyecatch

Based on the chairman's comments, I'm betting this will be available as a leased vehicle only. The lease will minimally offset the cost of the car.
How about a serial hybrid up?

And what's with the name? Is this specifically designed to appeal to people in Yorkshire?

The up! from 2 years ago looks better. Is the engine of this one still in the back or in the front?
