New images of Toyota's 2010 4Runner have leaked to the web.
As the pictures show, the 4Runner will adopt a boxier design that looks far more dramatic than the uninspired styling of the current model. The front end is dominated by an upright fascia, while the lengthened body promises to deliver additional interior room.
While details are scarce, the 4Runner is expected to receive a luxurious cabin with premium materials and several high-tech options such as keyless ignition, Bluetooth connectivity, and GPS navigation.
Riding on a truck-inspired body-on-frame chassis, engine options are expected to include a 161 hp 2.7-liter four-cylinder and a 258 hp 4.0-liter V6. Reflecting its off-road ambitions, the 4Runner will be available with a dynamic suspension system, hill descent control, and water-repellant seats.
Look for more information to be released when the 4Runner officially debuts at the Texas State Fair.
