Brabus has unveiled the limited edition E V12 sedan.

Based on the new 2010 Mercedes E-Class W 212, the E V12 features a 6.0-liter V12 biturbo bored out to 6.3-liters producing 800 hp and 1420 Nm of torque (it's electronically limited to 1,100 Nm). While details are limited, Brabus outfitted the engine with a ram-air system, a quad-exhaust, and revised engine electronics.

To keep the beast under control, the company added a fully adjustable sports suspension, new stabilizers, a high performance braking system, and black 19-inch alloy wheels outfitted with 255/35 (front) and 285/35 (rear) tires.

In terms of styling, Brabus made major modifications to improve aerodynamics, engine ventilation, and brake cooling. Changes include a revised front bumper, new front quarter panels, aggressive side sills, and rear wheel covers. Out back, the car features a trunk-mounted spoiler and a carbon fiber rear diffuser.

Thanks to all these tweaks, the E V12 rockets from 0-100 km/h (62 mph) in 3.7 seconds, 0-200 km/h (124 mph) in 9.9 seconds, and 0-300 km/h (186 mph) in 23.9 seconds. If you keep your foot planted, the car will eventually top out at an electronically limited 350 km/h (217 mph). Without the limiter, Brabus estimates the car can hit a top speed in excess of 370 km/h (230 mph). Fuel consumption is rated at 15.7L/100km (15 mpg), while CO2 emissions are 372 g/km.

Inside, the car features black leather upholstery, an Alcantara headliner, carbon fiber trim, and a 400 km/h (249 mph) speedometer.

Production will be limited to ten units, and prices start at €600,000 ($875,000 USD).

it will be officially fastest tuned sedan in the world. Kinda useless since you can take CTS-V and tune the crap out of it to make it even faster.

Those responsible for upgrading the engine, chassis and interior of this car should be given a warm round of applause and an opportunity to bury the business end of a rusty axe deep in the cranium of the body-kit designer.

Awesome performance but I agree they need to rethink those rear wheel covers.

Just insane. Everything looks great except for those wheel covers. They probably help saving fuel when driving 370 km/h!:)

Are you sure? M5 Has always had that Title. http://www.desktopmachine.com/press/51/BMW_M5_by_Currency_Motor_Cars//9652/

Engine Is decent and so is the interior but

that car looks absolutely hideous and that is my unbiased opinion. And the wheel covers...What are they thinking.

@ BavarianMS, yes i'm sure, enter G power website and check the top speed of the M5(225mph from their website) which is the maximum it can do while this can do 370+km (230+mph) if not limited. the link you posted here shows wrong details.

Grave i was agree with you with that QX,but with this one no. look why they limited the top speed?because this car can't go faster without any crash, you should say the difference is just 20km/h but it is not, for example in 350km/h you need 300kg downforce but in 370 you need about 400 kg downforce,so 20km/h and 100kg difference.

In the middle of the economic recession and global warming Brabus seems to be the only carmanufacturer with sense of humor. Its brilliant. Could be the ugliest thing in the world, but still so, so cool.

scratchy996

true , this car is meant for people cursed with too much money who also have a sense of humour.

Oliver
September 12, 2009 5:18 PM
In times of global warming this is a stupid dinosaur of a car. Anyone can build a car with a huge engine that runs like hell. Have a look at some 1930s race cars - they had the same performance and the same mpg-Rating. Daimler and brabus show us some real engineering with a car that goes to 370kph without destroying the future of our kids!

Anyone who watched "TopGear", Clarckson testes SL AMG with 1.100 Nm and you know what? Mercedes can't deliver that amount of torgue to the wheels. And i'm sure the same is with this E-class

scratchy996
September 12, 2009 8:05 PM
these cars are not meant for the track , they are high speed cruisers and acceleration monsters and they do their job perfectly.

I think that you really can go faster with totally tuned VTS-V or G-power M5 but one is definately...this BRABUS will last, and could be daily drive, in mean time G-power will not reach 10 000km and CTS-V why should you tune this car if it's not near the E-class in terms of prestige or quality???

September 12, 2009 10:47 PM
what's with the rear crap cover?

September 13, 2009 4:51 PM
I love brabus but this is too much. G power M5 on the freeway imo would be more efficient.

I will be impressed if they can beat the G power m5 officially.

The car looks good, whats the go with the rear wheel covers, they look stupid as and way out of place the car looks fine to me, why 19's, thought 20's would sit better.
