This is based on the Pnda, is it not? Surely not hard to add the Panda's 4x4 system with some proper diff locking and give it a little more ride height.

Nope, it's based upon the Grande Punto - which I think in the future will have its own AWD variant.

A Beetle is girly-cute...gag, spit, puke. A Mini or a Miata is bisexually cute...if you're into that sort of thing. But this Qubo here...now that's manly-cute! Sort of like a pitbull puppy that never grows up to the eat-the-neighbors'-toddler stage.
