There will be no winners from all of this. Although you can bet that it was Flav and Pat calling the shots rather than Nelson.

Oh crap... I was hoping that Nelsinho was just butt hurt and spreading rumors, but this does not look good for Renault at all.

What goes around come around.... sooner than later, thankfully! Just goes to show that no top F1 team plays fair, they all are bloody crooks!

Why not blame him since he is fired. Renault is just pain in the ass & Nelsinho didn't do anything, I still doubt that Renault is playing some game over here or cheating.

Of course Mr.Symonds!!! Every race driver, looking forward to a new contract, crashes the wall. We?ve seen that dozends of times. Now Heikki Kovalainen knows what he has to do to get a 2010 contract with McLaren ;)

... a driver suggests smashing up a multimillion dollar race car, with the potential of hurting himself and bringing the race team into disrepute and the team agrees ... bullsh*t!!!!! They are all equally at fault, the team and the driver, just admit it and move on (out of F1)!!!

What about the other dozen times he crashed? Did he do it on porpuse all those times?

It doesn't look good for Renault or F1 in general. A fine alone as a penalty would not be sufficient, but banning or disqualification would be devastating for the sport and a good cause for Renault to pull out entirely, which I'm sure nobody wants to see.

so the meeting never happened but did happen, they never discussed crashing but did, it was not piquet's idea but it was... i assumed they'd be better liars than this... maybe flav and pat should have discussed their answers before talking to anyone...

Renault gets docked their points or gets disqualified from the 2008 Singapore race. What happens to the rest of the players on the list, including the two championship contenders?
