A super-sexy Mazda 3. I love the style and the hidden rear door handle.

Nothing new to see stylistically. Most of that stuff has been appearing on European hatches for years -- the hidden door handles were on the Alfa 147 8 years ago (and the 156 before that!).

th front looks like something brought out by a after market dealer. this car will most likely have a mediocer engine and be overpriced.
Lexus? -Can I have a BMW?

Why are people hating Lexus so much? I don't understand.. This car looks very nice - something I could buy one day.

Me neither, I'm sure with another badge comments would be less exagerated or colored. Actually the level of predisposed opinions increased in proportion with increase in success of the brand. Maybe some fanboys starting feeling threatened :-) Anyway this looks promising. And MUCH better than a BMW 1!

people on this site hate on lexus becuase they do not make driver's cars, plain and simple. most of the people here are car guys, lexus' are for people concerned with menopause and osteoporosis. they make good cars, just nothing special, not my (or many others on this site for that matter) cup of tea.

It'll sell with a Toyota badge on it, but not with a slanted "L".

Just disgusting, both on the inside & outside! The rear looks somewhat sexy as a standalone & that's about it. What's with the pale blue lighting for the dash? Looks like some toddler calls the shots at Lexus!

I'd be ashamed if someone saw me driving this "LOOK-AT-ME!!!" kinda rapper car.

The production version won't have the crappy gold paint and chrome rims.

The design looks pretty good, but I am fed up with that colour, sheesh.

Also don't understand the Lexus bashing. Off course their customers are old, they sell in the expensive segments. Combine S, E and ML-class; or 7, 5 and X5 series buyers and you'd probably get similar results. This car is a good step towards attracting younger buyers (...if they keep the price within range). And as for Lexus not being drivers cars: When is the last time you drove one? they're no longer the floating- boat-LS400. I personally like the way the IS drives: pretty close to C-class or 3-series behaviour. AND I'd definately take it over an FWD A4.

Wait until you drove an IS-F. Lexus/Toyota can't make a driver's car? Yeah right.

I said it before- I like the way they pimped this Auris, and it will go as well as an Auris too...

Im just glad to see you commenting on cars that are actually within your realm of possibility. As for my opinion of this car, its repulsive. I think that someone should inform them that targeting a younger demographic is different than targeting a blind demographic.

If they have an ageing buyer profile, it's at least partly because younger people cannot afford these cars.
They need HUGE investment in smaller engines. Where are the GS220d, GS250, IS200d, IS200 petrol, the LS350........ the list of possibles goes on and on.
