Audi RS models used to be super special. Maybe it's ok to have more than one RS model in the range at one time in this day and age but now it's just getting ridic. Now they're just rolling them out the door willy nilly. It really devalues their premiere sport designation. Audi are showing little restraint at the moment and their product line is expanding too quickly IMO.

I bet that body kit will be available as a an option for the rest of the lineup so every TDI owner can make their Audi look fast...

It's stupid not to cater to niche's within your customer base. Most of the engineering costs have been budgeted for in th ebaseline development of the model and or the development of other models (for the engine side of things). Then you have a halo model in a particular segment, that costs you very little to engineer and can charge a high premium on. It's a no brainer.

Here, here!!! I am in total agreement with you both Termigini and Roger. For me, if the news at hand did not come form a reliable source, such as a direct rep from Ingolstadt, then it's not worth much.

actually many dealers get information much sooner, before anyone else in the business. I bet it's 99% reliable source.

Sadly there will be no RS 3 at Frankfurt. This dealer is irresponsible, getting people's hopes so high.
