I wonder if it is rear driven. Probably not since it has an improved drive shaft to minimize torque steer.

nope. this is what is says in the press release:
"One of the world?s most powerful front-wheel drive compact cars with a high-performance MZR 2.3L DISI* Turbo petrol Euro V engine, producing 191 kW/260 PS at 5,500 rpm, and high torque of 380 Nm at 3,000 rpm."

it looks like a Subaru Impreza from the side,..dont mind tht @ all.the dials look good,..iintertior is nice.
BUT IS CANT STAND THE FRONT LOOKS...it hideous.
It looks like a Toad....ehhhh,...sorry mazda lovers

I agree, that the frontdesign shows parallels to current Peugeot-styling. It smiles and it is nice. Not so agressive like the specs let exspect me. I'm interested how efficient the power fit the FWD
